Amanuel Melles
Amanuel is Manager of the
Community Action Unit with Family Service Association of Toronto. Amanuel has extensive experience with the immigrant,
ethno-racial, community health and social services sectors in Toronto. Currently is
the President and one of the co-founders of the African Canadian Social
Development Council. Past
Vice-President of the Community Social Planning Council of Toronto. Was on the
Board of Toronto Distress Centers and the Ontario Council of International Cooperation.
International experience in the Academic/Research Sector.
Interested in inclusive capacity building of communities
within an anti-oppression framework. Recipient of Jane
Jacobs Award for 2002.
