It is shocking: 40 years ago 96% of Scarborough
neighbourhoods were middle income. Now only 14% are
middle income. And in just five years (2005-2010) the
percentage of very low income neighbourhoods grew from
20% to 26%.

Stephanie Procyk (United Way) and other community members
