Call for Nominations to the SPT Board of Directors

SPT is governed by a 15-person volunteer Board of Directors elected by individual community and organizational membership at the Annual General Membership Meeting (AGM). The SPT’s Annual General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 8th, 2010 at Okham House/Ryerson Student Centre Conferencing at 63 Gould St. in Toronto. There will be 4 vacancies on the Board of Directors. This is a call for nominations to fill these vacancies at the AGM.

Thanks to all for taking part in Social Planning Toronto and Toronto Open Budget Initiative’s City Budget Process 101 workshop on February 3.
Budget Chief Shelley Carroll, CAW Sam Gindin Chair Judy Rebick and TOBI speaker Ann Fitzpatrick delivered excellent presentations to a packed house on the state of the City budget process and how we can make it more inclusive and participatory.
