If you are providing a BBQ or preparing food for your Neighbourhood Grant event, someone in your group should attend to make sure you are handling food safely.
The course normally costs $110 per person, but it is being offered at no charge for Neighbourhood Grantees. The session is 6 hours including an exam. If you pass, you will get certified for 5 years. We are offering 1-2 spots per group.
The certificate issued by Toronto Public Health is recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and other Health Units in Ontario.
Please arrive by 9:15am to register. Light breakfast and a full lunch will be served.
Childcare will not be provided. Please make other arrangements, as it will not be a child-friendly space.
