Celebrating 60 Years Together
On May 7, 1957, the Social Planning Council of Metropolitan Toronto was formally established, replacing the Welfare Council of Toronto. Since then, Social Planning Toronto has spent 60 years providing critical social research and reporting, community capacity-building and engagement as well as evidence based advocacy for Toronto and its communities.

Over the years, Social Planning Toronto has built strong partnerships across sectors, with the aim of creating a more dynamic and compassionate city.
I hope you will join in this opportunity to celebrate 60 years of accomplishments and look forward to future years of collaboration and partnership as we continue to build an even better city.
