During election periods, Social Planning Toronto empowers residents to participate in the democratic process by proving key information, tools, and resources to help them make informed decisions when voting. These resources include, but are not limited to:
- Information on where, when, and how to vote, including information for unhoused residents.
- Research, backgrounders, and fact sheets on key election issues.
- Tools, tips, and resources to support voter engagement.
- Events, both virtual and in-person, including town halls, info sessions, and collaborations with other organizations.
- Information about events organized independently of SPT, including candidate debates.
We are a nonpartisan organization. Though our organization is focused on the City of Toronto, we know that decisions made at all levels of government directly impact the lives of Torontonians. We provide tools and resources for municipal, provincial, and federal elections, as well as byelections.
