Renters in Toronto are facing many challenges, including evictions, renovictions, rent increases, and poor housing conditions. On January 17 2025, SPT hosted a workshop with partners from Don Valley Community Legal Services, The Neighbourhood Organization, Right to Housing Toronto, and the Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario. This workshop will give you the tools to take action during the City Budget process and is focused on the role that the City can take in addressing the housing crisis.

Speak to Budget Committee on January 21 or 22 in person or by video conference.

To register to speak email [email protected] or call 416-392-4666. Please choose a preferred day and timeslot (see list below) and register to speak by 4:30 p.m. the day before the meeting. Registered speakers will be provided with instructions about how to join the meeting.
