How to Tell Your Story of Impact

 

Facilitators:

Charles Zhu founded the Parenting Group in Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park. Parenting Group is a volunteer-based grassroots community group with members from very diverse backgrounds, cultures and religions. Charles and the Parenting Group have received a City of Toronto Neighbourhood Grant twice and used the funds to successfully implement the 2018 Thorncliffe Park Children’s Talent Fest on Aug. 27, 2018 and 2019 Children's Talent Fest on Aug. 26, 2019. Charles is also a Resident Advisory Committee member for Thorncliffe Park.  He is also Ward 11 Representative for TDSB FSLAC (French as a Second Language Advisory Committee) and Parent Vice Co-Chair for FSLAC 2019-2020 and he was Parent Council Chair for Fraser Mustard Early Learning Academy for 2018-2019

Fiona Scott has worked with The Remix Project, City of Toronto, ArtReach, Nia Centre for the Arts, The Laidlaw Foundation, and many other groups and organizations helping them to understand, share and communicate the impact of their projects on communities.

Childcare will be available for this session for kids 3 years and older. When you register, please let us the number of children you are bringing and their ages. Pizza and apple juice will be provided.
