What is the Neighbourhood Grants Program?
The Neighbourhood Grants program helps activate neighbourhoods and advances the City of Toronto's Toronto Strong Neighbourhood Strategy 2020 (TSNS 2020).
The program will make grants of $1,000–$3,000 to resident-led groups to help them inspire their neighbourhoods with events or activities held between May 1 and September 15, 2019. A maximum of $5,000 will be available in each of the 39 identified neighbourhoods (31 Neighbourhood Improvement Areas and 8 Emerging Neighbourhoods).
How do I apply?
The next deadline for the Neighbourhood Grants program is December 4, 2018. This is the one and only deadline to apply for a grant for a 2019 event or activity.
Social Planning Toronto is hosting four workshops in November to support new applicants and returning grantees. Join us to pick up some tips on applying for funding, do some networking, and learn about the changes that have been made to the program.
