This session will support you to:
- Learn 2-3 simple ways to gather evaluation information
- Tell the story of your work in different ways
- Share the impact of your events / projects in ways that could help you with your future grant applications or requests for donations and sponsorship in your local neighbourhood
- Network and learn about other community leaders and their events
Facilitators: Fiona Scott has worked with The Remix Project, City of Toronto, ArtReach, Nia Centre for the Arts, The Laidlaw Foundation, and many other groups and organizations helping them to understand, share and communicate the impact of their projects on communities. Aishah Sheri, educator and community lead for the Flemingdon Park neighbourhood. She is co-founder of Friends of Flemingdon, a resident-led group that has received a Neighbourhood grant and has raised almost a million dollars for infrastructure improvements in Flemingdon Park.
Supports: Snacks and 2 TTC tokens / $6 parking reimbursement will be provided. When you register, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or need any other support.
