Earlier this year, we concluded a community consultation process for the City of Toronto's Gender Equity Strategy. We are pleased to share our consultation report, with findings informed by over 1,000 participants from across the city.

The extraordinary resilience, strength, and wisdom of women and gender diverse residents is evidenced in the opportunities they identified, in the successful initiatives they shared, and in the creative solutions they proposed for advancing gender equity in Toronto.

The City of Toronto’s Gender Equity Unit is refining the Gender Equity Strategy and developing an implementation plan for it. The Strategy is scheduled to be considered by City Council in 2023.
